Women Empowerment Workshop
Woman empowerment program in Maiduguri that was sponsored by the foundation. This is a skill acquirement and grant program sponsored by the foundation. We strategically hand picked a number of 25 women from Bakassi camp in Borno State and engaged them in a two months program of sewing as well as fashion designs. They were given sewing machine in groups as well as a little grant to kick off their business. We have identified 100s of women in the camps that are willing and ready, and the foundation will do its best to look for funding in order to help the women in the camps. Our motto is; nobody is left behind.

Scholarship Program
Yakolo Indimi Foundation has been sponsoring students to achieve their dreams through various avenues. Here, the foundation sponsored the schooling of four promising students through a complete scholarship in their various fields of expertise. Some times these events get emotional, but we do it for the joy we see in their faces. Its sad that we see some that can be helped but funds are not enough. But nevertheless, we continue to strive till we one day put a smile on all their faces. **
A visit to Lugbe IDP camp Abuja.
A little play time. We sensitized the kids on the importance of team work and harmony through a game of tug of war. Where every team had to work together in order to win the contest. It seemed to cheer them up.
Yakolo Indimi Foundation was at the Luncheon of the 2nd regional protection dialogue on the Lake Chad Basin.
Hey its just another day in the Yakolo Indimi Camp.
Sometimes you just got to take a minute and smile for the cameras….
These children are orphans, so they do not have anyone looking after them as a parent would do. We try and keep in contact with them to make sure they know that there are people out there that really care no matter how dire the situation is.
How about a smile. If you are here, you are already making a difference
We distributed some provisions for the orphanage.
